Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made with Wildhat Adventures (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By confirming a booking, the customer (“Guest,” “you,” “your”) acknowledges and accepts the following:

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
     1.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
     1.2 Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra.

  2. Services Offered
     2.1 Wildhat Adventures organizes a wide range of tours and travel services.
     2.2 Adventure tours include trekking, motor biking, surfing, snorkelling, kayaking, boat rides, and wildlife safaris (conducted by government agencies or certified providers).
     2.3 Cultural tours include food tours, religious pilgrimages, local heritage explorations, and historical visits.
     2.4 Leisure tours include solo, group, family, budget, and customized trips.
     2.5 Tours may include accommodation, meals, activities, entry fees, local transport, certified guides, and support staff as per the itinerary.

  3. Booking and Payment
     3.1 A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a non-refundable deposit.
     3.2 The balance must be paid no later than twenty (20) to thirty (30) days before the Tour start date.
     3.3 If payment is not received within this period, the Company may cancel the booking.
     3.4 Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.
     3.5 Prices may change due to:
      a. Government taxes or levies,
      b. Fuel surcharges,
      c. Airline fare changes,
      d. Currency fluctuations,
      e. Natural calamities or extraordinary events.
     3.6 Guests will be notified promptly of any changes.

  4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
     4.1 International Guests:
      a. Cancellations thirty (30) or more days before departure: fifty percent (50%) refund.
      b. Cancellations within thirty (30) days: non-refundable.
     4.2 Domestic Guests:
      a. Cancellations twenty (20) or more days before departure: fifty percent (50%) refund.
      b. Cancellations within twenty (20) days: non-refundable.
     4.3 No refunds for unused services, missed activities, or no-shows.
     4.4 Visa denial or illness: rescheduling may be offered at the Company’s discretion, subject to availability and applicable charges.

  5. Force Majeure and Unforeseen Events
     5.1 The Company is not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to:
      a. Weather conditions,
      b. Natural disasters,
      c. Political unrest, strikes, or civil disturbances,
      d. Epidemics or pandemics,
      e. Government restrictions,
      f. Acts of God.
     5.2 The Company may reschedule, modify, or cancel Tours in such cases.
     5.3 Refunds or credits will depend on third-party supplier policies.

  6. Health, Safety, and Insurance
     6.1 Guests must disclose all medical conditions, allergies, medications, and emergency contacts before booking.
     6.2 Guests participating in adventure activities confirm they are physically fit and capable.
     6.3 The Company provides only basic first aid.
     6.4 Guests are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance covering:
      a. Medical treatment and evacuation,
      b. Personal accident and death,
      c. Cancellation or interruption of the Tour,
      d. Loss or damage of baggage,
      e. Adventure sports and high-risk activities.
     6.5 Insurance is the sole responsibility of the Guest. The Company may suggest providers but is not liable for adequacy of coverage.

  7. Guest Identification and Documentation
     7.1 Foreign nationals must provide a valid passport and visa copy.
     7.2 Indian nationals must provide a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar, Passport).
     7.3 Minors under sixteen (16) must be accompanied by a guardian or provide written consent.
     7.4 Minors are charged full adult rates unless otherwise specified.

  8. Responsibilities and Conduct of Guests
     8.1 Guests must follow local laws, cultural norms, religious rules, and environmental practices.
     8.2 The Company reserves the right to refuse service or remove any Guest for unsafe, disruptive, disrespectful, or unlawful behavior.
     8.3 Guests are responsible for personal belongings, including luggage, electronics, and valuables. The Company assumes no liability for loss, theft, or damage.

  9. Company Liability
     9.1 The Company uses due care in selecting service providers (hotels, guides, transport operators) but acts primarily as an intermediary.
     9.2 The Company is not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.
     9.3 The Company is not liable for injury, illness, death, loss, delay, or damage except where caused directly by gross negligence.
     9.4 Liability is limited to the amount paid by the Guest for the Tour.

  10. Photography and Media Rights
     10.1 The Company may photograph or film Tours for promotional use on websites, social media, and marketing material.
     10.2 By joining a Tour, Guests consent to this use unless they notify the Company in writing beforehand.
     10.3 All itineraries, branding, designs, and logos are the property of Wildhat Adventures and cannot be copied or reproduced without written permission.

  11. Privacy and Data Protection
     11.1 The Company collects personal information for identification and emergency purposes.
     11.2 Data will not be sold or shared, except as required by law or to service providers directly involved in the Tour.
     11.3 The Company applies industry-standard practices to safeguard data.

  12. Add-Ons and Optional Activities
     12.1 Add-ons should be booked in advance but may be arranged during the Tour subject to availability.
     12.2 Additional charges must be paid before participation.
     12.3 Last-minute add-ons are not guaranteed.

  13. Dispute Resolution
     13.1 Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through negotiation.
     13.2 If unresolved, disputes will be referred to mediation or arbitration in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra.
     13.3 If arbitration fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Ratnagiri.

  14. Waiver and Indemnity
     14.1 Guests must sign a waiver of liability before the Tour.
     14.2 Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wildhat Adventures, its employees, guides, and affiliates against any claims arising from participation in the Tour.

  15. Modification of Terms
     15.1 The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms without notice.
     15.2 Updated Terms will be posted on the Company’s website and will apply to new bookings immediately.

By confirming a booking with Wildhat Adventures, the Guest acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
